Cheltenham Fashion Week at Ladies Day

This week has seen the excitement of the races come to Cheltenham with the Cheltenham Festival 2013. And you can’t have races without having fabulous fashion! From feathered hats to fascinators, fur collars to flamboyant outerwear, the fashion on offer was simply stunning. Here’s a peek of our favourite outfits as chosen by the team from Cheltenham Fashion Week at Ladies Day.

Race goers dressed to impress this Wednesday and the cream of the crop entered our Cheltenham Fashion Week Style Awards, with prizes going to the best-dressed, best hat and best accessories. Lystra Adams won the award for best hat in her rather fabulous Sally Sharp red and black number, Mary Heron for best accessories with her vintage inspired violet hat, bag and square toe shoes. Charlotte Hamilton took away the award for best-dressed with her fabulous felt hat with cosy fur stole fashioned into a smart waistcoat using the tie from her wool coat.

Judges included our very own Sam Bawden, fashion designer Selina Blow, local stylist Kate Parker, local hairdressing legend Stuart Holmes and Cotswold Farmer and TV personality Adam Henson.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures and they’ve inspired you to come and join us next year at Ladies Day!
